Joyseat 3.0

For me, this is one of those "premium" products that is worth the extra money.

I'm a tall guy and upgrading to a Posedla is a bit like paying extra for more legroom on a long flight. The more hours you spend on the bike, the more "worth it" the upgrade is.

I was skeptical even after receiving my first Joyseat. I figured that, in the worst case scenario, I could use it as a lighter "race day only" saddle even if it was uncomfortable and a total bust.

Once I got the tilt and setback dialled in properly, the Joyseat made my existing saddle seem ridiculously uncomfortable. I "had to" replace all of my existing saddles even though I had been happily using the same model on all my bikes for many years.

So I would recommend the Posedla but with three points of caution.

The first would be that it took me some time (more than a month of tinkering) to get the tilt and setback right (more nose down and forward than I would have expected). The Posedla seems designed for particular "sweet spot" and getting the fit wrong can make it seem uncomfortable initially.

The second would be that it is important to be brutally honest, rather than "aspirational", in filling out the Posedla questionnaire. Posedla provided exactly what I said that I wanted, so the answers to those questions really do matter.

The third would be that you may need to upgrade all of your saddles once you get a Posedla. For me, the Posedla immediately made the saddle I had been using since 2018 seem completely "wrong" for me. The old saddle suddenly felt like sitting in a bean bag chair...and not in a good way.

Je suis ravi de ma selle Joyseat, conçue spécialement pour moi. Dès les premiers kilomètres, j’ai ressenti une différence énorme : la gêne que je subissais avec mes anciennes selles a totalement disparu. Le confort est au rendez-vous, et le fait qu’elle soit sur mesure change tout. Je recommande vivement à tous ceux qui cherchent une solution adaptée à leur morphologie et à leur pratique !

Sedlo mi sedí ako "riť na šerbel"☺️...pardon za výraz, ale to najlepšie vystihuje, ako mi toto sedlo sadlo🤌🤌🤌 ...prešla som s ním aj dlhšie trasy, aj nastúpala výškové metre a s obyčajným sedlom sa to nedá ani porovnať...vlastne dá...milión a jedno...to hovorí za všetko!!!

I discovered Posedla at the Bespoked bike show in Dresden. I spent quite a while talking to the team, and their concept immediately made sense to me. I was impressed by the idea of a truly custom-made saddle. To be honest, I hesitated for quite some time because of the price, but in the end I decided to give it a try.

I ride a lot. I commute to work by road bike almost every day, around 20–30 km each way. In my free time, I regularly do rides of 3–4 hours or more, and several times a year I ride ultra-distance events of more than 300 km, spending over 11 hours in the saddle.

Before buying the Joyseat, I had accepted that discomfort on long rides was simply part of cycling. After about 3–4 hours, I would usually develop pressure points, numbness or pain, regardless of which saddle I was using.

The ordering process was very straightforward. The impression kit arrived quickly, the instructions were simple and easy to follow, and a few weeks later my custom Joyseat was delivered.

From my very first rides to work, I could tell that the saddle suited me well. But its real strengths became obvious on longer rides. The pressure points disappeared, nothing went numb anymore, and the saddle simply stopped being something I had to think about. I could finally focus on enjoying the ride instead of constantly shifting my position to stay comfortable.

Of course, after riding more than 300 km you still feel exhausted—but that's because you've spent over 11 hours on the bike, not because the saddle is causing pain. For me, that was a complete game changer.

After almost three years of intensive use, I experienced a small issue at the front of the saddle. I contacted Posedla's customer support and was genuinely impressed by how friendly, professional and solution-oriented they were. That experience gave me even more confidence in the company, and I decided to order another Joyseat.

If someone asked me today whether I would spend this amount of money on a saddle again, my answer would be a clear yes.

Without a doubt, the Joyseat has been the best upgrade I have ever made to my road bike.
